Shaw is Canada's second largest cable company, with a strong presence in western Canada, thanks to two market swaps with Rogers.

Shaw's 5.0 Mbps cable broadband offering currently costs $38.95/month, or $43.95 with the rental of a cable modem. This can be upgraded to the 7.0 Mbps "Xtreme-I" service for an extra $10/month. For the more casual user, Shaw also has a 128 kbps "High-Speed Lite" offering for just $24.95/month, plus modem rental.

The company offers a number of bundling options, which reward customer loyalty, by giving discounts to subscribers who use two or more services.
