    Aliant is a telecom and internet provider serving Atlantic Canada, and 53% owned by Bell Canada Enterprises Inc.

    The company currently offers high-speed (1.5 Mbps) DSL internet service in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador, starting at $39.95 per month. Aliant also has a "high-speed ultra" DSL service which offers speeds of up to 5 Mbps, and costs $44.95 per month.

    Aliant's much slower dialup internet options cost between $16.95 (for 15 hours/month) and $26.95 (for unlimited use).
