Bell is Canada's largest telecommunications carrier, with about 13 million customers, mostly located in the eastern provinces of Ontario and Quebec. Together with Sympatico, the telecom giant provides a comprehensive range of ISP solutions.

Basic DSL internet access, with bandwidth of up to 1 Mbps, currently costs $35/month ($25/month for the first year), while high-speed (5 Mbps) DSL is priced at $46.95/month ($35/month for the first year).

Another, more economical, broadband option is High Speed Lite, which is more than twice as fast as dialup and won't tie up your phone line. This service costs $19.95/month for the first 12 months, and $25/mongh thereafter.

Bell Sympatico's 56 kbps dialup offering includes 100 hours of internet access at a cost $14.95/month for the first year, and $19.95 thereafter.
