    SaskTel is the crown-owned telecom carrier serving the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It provides both broadband and dialup internet access to customers in the mostly rural province.

    The basic broadband service, which offers 1.5 Mbps connectivity to users in 10 cities, currently costs $34.95/month, or as low as $19.95 when bundled with other SaskTel services. There is also a "High-Speed Plus" option which costs $44.95 per month for 5 Mbps. 256 kbps "High-Speed Light" access is also offered at a monthly cost of $22.95.

    SaskTel's 56 kbps dialup internet offering starts at $17.95 for 50 hours each month. A higher use plan (120 hours) is currently available for $29.95/month, but there is no unlimited use option at this time.
